Clean the toilet or mind of the user?




It is official! Now we have 'few' clean toilets scattering all over KL, but just a few? And for that, do we really need to have DPM to officially launch it?

It is a fact of life that when nature call, we don't really bother if the toilet is equipped with a touch-screen panel to flush it or it is just an ordinary ones with a wooden lever attached to it, we just need a damn clean toilet, and of course, with plenty of water inside the tank!! (as part of Risk Management Process - Do make it a habit to 'test' it first! you might upset the next viewer / user!) Hence, the million dollar question is - after the introduction of those 'high-level' toilets, will our 'Public-Toilet Satisfaction Index' improves?

In coming out with the numbers, will the sampling being done only in Bukit Bintang or the survey will be extended to areas just beside Bukit Bintang?

The issue here is not 'dollars and cents' but 'civic-minded and common senses', that is what we should be tackling apart from building more clean toilets. Do we have a clear framework and blueprint on how to 'whitewash' those 'dirty-minded' users or we only have a roadmap on when will be the next launching dates?

Think about this... Which one is a more powerful adage? A ' first impression of a beautiful toilet last forever.. ' or 'Experience is not the best teacher... It is the ONLY teacher'. Unfortunately, in your case, it was a BAD experience when you frantically searching high and low for a toilet and finally being rewarded with...* you don't need to second guessing it, your guess is as guess as mine on what actually happened there!!*
